This medal is my version of Mary's Immaculate Heart. The fire symbolizes her burning love for her Son, and for us, the crown of roses, is a reminder of her sinless purity and the sword a symbol of her sorrow because of her Son's suffering (Luke 2:34-35). This medal is just over 1 1/4" long and has been hand cast in solid bronze.

Both the bronze and the sterling parts (as well as the brass wire and chain) will age and patina over time adding to the character of each piece.
I do my best to portray colors accurately, however different monitors will vary in how they display colors. Due to the fact that each piece is handmade, and the metal crosses and medals are hand cast, please expect some slight variations in each piece.
